When you signed up for your FrogNet account, you chose a username and password. This username and password combination is all that protects you from having your account hijacked. So obviously, it is vitally important that you keep this information secure. Now that we live in an information age, personal information is highly sought after by criminals called "identity thieves" and by hackers. These new criminals pose as you in order to apply for loans, credit cards, and all sorts of stuff. Hackers could use your account to send SPAM email. They can store illegal software or pornographic pictures on YOUR account which if found, can tarnish your reputation or even land you in jail. They can even use your account to harass a complete stranger in YOUR name.
If you value your privacy, your good credit and your security, then you should make your password as random as possible and change it every few months. Random, frequently changed passwords are harder to crack. You should keep your password in your wallet or purse so that remembering it is not an issue. Most people who can memorize a 10 digit phone number or a 9 digit social security number can eventually remember their 8 character FrogNet password.
Only the account owner can change a password. Relatives, friends and employees cannot change a password on someone's behalf.
Call FrogNet tech support at 1-888-593-3764 using the phone number you gave us when you signed up for your account. If you recently moved or your number has changed, you will need to tell us. We will record the new number in our database as the contact number for your account. We will not share this number or any of your personal information with any third parties.
We will then hang up and call you back at the number you gave us.
We will then change your password.
Arrive at FrogNet located at 6 South Court Street in Athens Ohio with a valid picture ID.
We will change your password.
We will not change your password under any circumstances unless you are willing to come into our office or allow us to call you.
