Outlook Express allows you to set up different "identities", which in effect, are completely separate setups for different users or different email accounts. You may want to set up identites if there are a lot of people using the same computer to check their email. There are two sets of instructions below to show you how to work with identities:
Create a New Identity
Switch from Identity to Another
Open Outlook Express.

Click "File" at the top.
Click "Identities" from the list.
Click "Add New Identity" from the menu to the right.

Type a unique name for the identity, where it reads "Type Your Name".
Using a password is not recommended. If you forget this password, there is nothing to do to recover it, short of creating a new identity.
Click "OK" at the bottom.
If it asks to switch to the new identity, click "Yes".
Oulook will appear to close, and then will reopen, this time as the
new identity.
