Windows 95 Dial-Up Wizard Walk-Through

This tutorial describes in detail how to connect your Windows 95 computer to FrogNet for the FIRST TIME using the Windows 95 Dial-Up Connection Wizard. It is intended for new customers, or current customers who are trying to connect a new machine to FrogNet for the FIRST TIME.

The area code should be blank since the call you computer will be making is not a long distance call, but a local call. Pick the closest telephone number to you from our list of over a thousand phone numbers located throughout the continental United States.

Look closely at the username. It should look like an email address. If your username is joefrog, then your username on this screen should look like joefrog@frognet.net if it doesn't add @frognet.net to the username. If you do not know what your frognet username is, look at your FrogNet bill. It will be listed as frognet login, account name, or username.

Under IP Address, make sure that option selected is "My Internet service provider automatically assigns me one." If it is selected, it will have a black dot next to it.

For DNS Server Address, make sure that option selected is "My Internet service provider automatically sets this when I sign it." If it is selected, it will have a black dot next to it.

Use your entire email address for the POP account name.
