"Maya's Misty Mountain Hop"
Maya
Maya is my standard poodle. Most people will ask me why I have a poodle. I have always had German Shepherds. Well... I am not sure what the answer to that is .. Maya came to me during a very difficult time. She has brightened my days,
with her many ways of being Maya. She is the most loving dog I have ever had. Maya and I do therapy dog visits and have spent some time at dog school. She was awarded first place in beginners class and is a certified Canine Good Citizen. MAYA WAS SO CUTE. HARD TO BELIEVE SHE WAS EVER THAT SMALL MAYA'S MOM, LITTER MATES, AND DAD MAYA BEING MAYA ISN'T HALLOWEEN FUN!
THE BEST PART OF HAVING A POODLE IS YOU CAN ALWAYS HAVE A NEW DOG WITH JUST THE SNIP OF THE SCISSORS! : ) AND BLESS HIS HEART, ZEKE WAITS PATIENTLY UNTIL CHRISTY IS DONE WITH HIS PRETTY GIRL MAYA! MAYA, JULY 12, 2001 Maya and Zeke are two of the best dogs I have ever had. I enjoy their company everyday.
Oh yes... I almost forgot. I have a cat too. Her name is Z.C., it's short for Zep's Cat.
She is called Zee or Miss Zee. It gets a little confusing around here sometimes with Zee and Zeke, but she was here before Zeke came and he was already named. Mom and Dad ·

The story From A to Zeke tells all about him and how he got here. He has been a fun dog and I am very grateful to have him. He reminds
me of all the old dogs I have had over the years.

In June of 2002, I had a family call me and ask about
Maya. My family had told them I was looking for a
good home for her. I realized I was no longer able
to pay the expense of her being a very high maintenance
dog. With regret and doubt, I agreed on a trial basis
since the family did have her litter sister, and the agreement
was I could see her anytime I wanted. However this
is not the case. After getting her papers and all her
credentials for being a Therapy Dog, this family
decided it was not a good thing for me to see my dog
and the *woman* of the household rudely told me I had no business seeing
Maya and very harshly hung up on me. To this day they
will not answer my calls.
I just have one thing to say.. Maya,
I still love you, and miss you very much, and I hope
that someday I will see you being walked and with that
I will be able to see you again. I cannot believe there
are people in the world that would pull such a stunt
as to take a person's beloved dog on a verbal agreement
then rip that person's heart out by being the greedy, nasty,
conniving folks they turned out to be. I have been told she has
a good home and is happy, but she had a good home,
and I'd really like to see her again. I pray everyday
these people will change their minds and call me.
