Text Box:   On a beautiful Saturday in July JAM ceremonially broke ground and soon afterwards the building process began in earnest.  The footers, plumbing and the wall framing all successfully passed state inspections the first time.  This is a tribute to the skill of our volunteers.  Volunteers and several contractors all have the same goal – get the building under roof before the snow flakes fly. CAMPAIGN PROGRESS REPORT – as of July we have just short of  $ 80,000 in the bank.  It is our best estimates that between 15 and 20 thousand dollars still has to be raised.   Contractor John Jackson and friends prepare the footers.                   Volunteers have been working every Saturday since October 18th.  Providentially, the weather has allowed us to work every Saturday, usually completing the tasks for the  day.         A committee crew from Mullins Construction of Wheelersburg finished installing the roof trusses and will in a few days complete the task of sheeting and nailing the felt paper.  The shingles still await us.  The Amish will be doing the shingles when appropriate.
