My name, Fidelma, has ancient Celtic roots, hence the Celtic theme of my web site. I was born and grew up in Belfast, Northern Ireland, the eldest (along with a twin sister) of six children. I attended Queen's University and worked for British Airways before moving to Dallas, Texas in 1972. My husband George is an attorney and I have a son, a daughter and a stepdaughter. My son, Mark, is a physician in Manhattan and my daughter, Amanda, is attending Law School also in Manhattan. My stepdaughter, Alexandria, is in advertising for a fashion designer in New York. As far back as I can remember, I always wanted a Chihuahua. The name itself sounded so romantic and Mexico seemed a world away from Ireland! It was 1987 before I realized my dream....the rest is history!!
